About Us:

We want every professional working with children and families in need of support and protection, to have the skills they need to form effective relationships. We want families to feel supported to co-produce plans that recognise family strengths, and offer tailored services with shared goals.

We have professionals who have worked with the Family Safeguarding Model and seen the potential for this to enable parent's to work with social workers and other professionals and achieve positive change, enabling child protection plans to be effective and children to safely live with their parents or family.

Our aim is to support social workers in their relationships with parents with a specific focus on Motivational Interviewing in the child protection setting.

We are experts by experience in a range of key roles including parents whose children have been on child protection plans, care experienced children and adults and social workers and child protection conference chairs.

Our training is delivered by experienced social workers and social care experienced parents. We apply all of our training to front line practice situations enabling social workers to feel confident in using this in their work with children and parents.
